70th Anniversary, 2021

This year, 2021, is the 70th Anniversary of the Slovenski Klub/Canadian Slovenian Cultural Society. When we started planning for this event in early 2020 who knew what was coming. The plan was to have a celebratory evening giving specific attention to those members of our community who had been there since the early days. Not every organization makes it to its 70th year. It takes the contributions, both large and small, of many people to ensure that our cultural traditions and values carry on.

In its stead we have created this space for members to make known and honour the efforts of those that came before us. It is to say "They were here and they helped in leaving something behind."

75th Anniversary, 2026

With the 75th anniversary of the CSCS coming up in 2026, we’re hoping to bring this project back to light and have more members create submissions for themselves, their parents, or any other family members or friends.
